BioI am a mom of two boys. I work part-time and am about to start a nursing program at Christ Hospital. I write here on LJ about anything and everything, but mostly about my children and the antics they've been up to (pictures often included).
I am a woman of many passions, but have not had much time for anything other than raising two boys (or trying to) and working at a local grocery store. I have shelves of unread books, piles of unwatched movies, mountains of unwashed laundry, a sinkful of unwashed dishes (good luck finding a clean spoon around here) and lists of things-to-do to before classes start in August.
I love to take walks, explore wooded areas, and I have a thing for old buildings. I dance around the house with my kids, pretend I can still do gymnastics at the age of 30.5, and fantasize about living in Africa.
I read, journal, obsessively listen to NPR, play with Play Doh, jump in rain puddles, color with crayons and fingerpaint. I love a good salad, Indian food, and ice cream.
I've lived in France, Finland and Italy, visited Sweden, Switzerland, and Estonia, spent childhood summers in Canada and had the pleasure of taking three cruise vacations to the Caribbean (Mexico, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, etc). I prefer Finland of all place I've ever been :D
I love to go barefoot, don't much care for socks, and almost always sleep naked.
